September 2003 – Commencement of Collection Center Activities.  

Codec Communications (P) Ltd. has undertaken collection center activities management for Bay Area Credit Services - one of the group companies in United States.

The entire process of collection center, including:-

  • Outbound and Inbound calls
  • Collections out of these calls
  • Updating live database

is managed by Codec through its collection center facility in Pune. The challenge faced is in achieving real time work from India and pulling the real time data from US and working on that while talking on a live call with the Debtors.



  August 2003 - ISO 9001- 2000 Certified organization.

ISO - 9001: Certification:-

Codec Communications (P) Ltd. is an ISO – 9001:2000 certified organization, scope of certification spanning - Design, Development, Installation, Implementation And Maintenance Of Software Life Cycle Products where ISO 9001:1994 standards are implemented in regular working of the organization.

The certification was granted by American Quality Assessors – AQA, a provider of ISO 9000/Q9000 third party quality system registration. AQA, USA has been accredited by ANSI/RAB (American National Standards Institute/Registrars Accreditation Board) and RVA, Netherlands (European Accreditation) for issue of Registrations under ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and QS 9000 series of Standards.

Codec Communications (P) Ltd. has undertaken the work of performing back office functions for Digital Boardwalk Inc.

The work involves working on the accounting processes and posting transactions conducted into ‘Dynamics' - an ERP package by Great Plains.
